fxkcn around with Gambas
So I dual boot my Windows 7 acer laptop with Ubuntu, because, why? I like Linux. I also like to code for fun. Anyways, I come across this cool IDE that is based off of Visual Basic called Gambas, and it’s awesome. Gambas also stands for “Almost Means Basic” or its their slogan or whatever. Gambas has all the features of Visual Basic, if not more. I think I will like Gambas more than Eclipse. I will be finding out in my free time. Gambas is available for just about every linux distribution, and most BSD systems. Although there is a Windows version, it is not very stable, nor is the PowerPC version. One awesome application made with Gambas is Guygle, a web geographical web system. Here are some screenshots below of Gambas.
